Personal profile

Dr Bisola Ariyo is a dedicated academic and researcher in Strategic Management, Business Continuity Management and Entrepreneurship. Bisola holds a distinction in Management and International Business from Birmingham City University and a diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). She is also CPD-certified in Design Thinking, showing her diverse academic background and commitment to professional development. 

Bisola has contributed to teaching and learning and supervised a range of postgraduate research (MSc) in Strategic Management and Leadership, Crisis Management, Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She is dedicated to innovative teaching, academic excellence and impactful research in business management. She has published book chapters and presented her research at international conferences.

In addition to her academic role, she is a member of the Entrepreneurship workstream at De Montfort Expertise Ltd., contributing to a World Bank-funded project at the University of Science, Engineering and Technology (USET) in The Gambia since October 2022.  

With industry experience in finance and strategic planning, she combines practical expertise with academic rigour.
