Jacqueline graduated with a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Leicester and qualified as a solicitor specialising in civil litigation and employment law. She has delivered professional legal training for top law firms such as Michcon de Reya, Irwin Michell and Shoosmiths.
Jacqueline joined º£½ÇÉçÇø as a senior lecturer in 2007 having successfully managed a Law Clinic for both Leicester Law Centre and Macmillan Cancer Support. She was a lay member of the Leicestershire Police Misconduct Panel (15 years) and a Chairperson for the NHS England professional standards.
Jacqueline teaches across all three levels on the LLB as well as post graduate students including professional distance learners. She performs an inter-departmental role teaching law to human resource management, accountancy and social work students. She has significant experience supervising masters students and acting as a guest speaker on employment, professional standards and equality law.
Jacqueline is the Lead for the Conflict Resolution Centre at º£½ÇÉçÇø and is strong advocate of the benefits of conflict management and alternative dispute resolution The role involves providing training, workplace opportunities to students and connecting with experts in this expanding field . She works as career coach in the legal sector and is passionate about supporting students to develop resilient employability skills through executive training and life-long learning.
