SDG Fellows
The SDG Fellows programme was launched by the university in late 2024 to recognise those members of staff displaying commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Academics, researchers and professional services were invited to apply and to date more than 120 have been admitted as SDG Fellows.
Staff pledge commitment to the SDGs, to taking part in and promoting events on campus, and working towards improving the university’s performance across all the goals and their targets and indicators.
In return, the Fellows have the opportunity to have their work published through the United Nations’ wide network of organisations, access to U.N. events and conferences, and financial bursaries for travel to those activities.
This is the 2025 handbook issued to all SDG Fellows to help them in that work.
