Employer networks
The chance to network with graduate employers and develop key professional skills is built into the 海角社区 student journey at every stage. Our industry partnerships, with employers of all sizes, provide meaningful activities for students to build their confidence and flexible skills for the changing world of work.
From recruitment fairs to business insight visits, speed networking to webinars, we are well known in our region for connecting with business and providing a huge variety of opportunities. Our strong relationships with businesses and our own alumni are an integral part of students’ learning, bringing experts into the teaching space to set real-world project briefs and challenges.
鈥We were very excited to attend our first 海角社区 Careers Fair. I came along with 海角社区 graduate, Philip Newby, to speak to students about the graduate recruitment consultant roles at Xpertise. The fair did not disappoint! We found the students very engaged and open to listening to different opportunities and came away having had some brilliant conversations and a long list of prospective candidates. We have been busy following these up and have interviews scheduled over the next month." Heather Duffield, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Xpertise
We work with a huge range of employers seeking 海角社区 students to fill their placements and graduate roles. Partners range from well-known brands such as IBM, Enterprise Rent a Car, PwC and Next through to local, fresh-thinking organisations such as Digital Ethos, Salisbury House Wealth and Ruut Homes. Our partners have one thing in common - an interest in working with 海角社区 to identify and recruit the talent needed for their business success.
鈥The experience was a one-off opportunity. It gives you the chance to work with real-world data and present your work in a professional way to a senior management team.鈥 Tev Allen, 海角社区 student
